Talk:Mamvish
From ErrantryWiki
It's probably very silly to try to do a fanart of a character who hasn't even appeared in the books yet... but I like the idea of trying to build a Mamvish in a 3D program. I do have an anatomy question, though; Komodo dragons have a "sprawling" gait with their legs sticking out to the side, unlike dinosaurs and mammals, whose legs go straight down. Something Mamvish's size would end up moving like a snake with useless legs if her legs are like a Komodo's, so are they more like a dinosaur's?
I'm getting too involved with this! --Peter Murray 19:18, 19 May 2005 (EDT)
I'm assuming that the page refers to a full-grown, 10 foot long, Komodo dragon when it refers to her size. And I just skimmed AWAL looking for the reference implied in this entry, and can't find it anywhere. (Although Mitchy suggests it might be a reference to p200-201 of the Harcourt edition, where Nita is reading about classifications of wizards.) --06:43, 22 May 2005 (EDT)
