[edit] Basic Intro
My name is Jilumasam which is derived from a mishmash of the names of all the dogs I've ever owned. This is the first time I've been to a wiki site. I keep close tabs on the concordance (and the new young wizards web pages) and its fantastic to see it in a much more useable format.
I'm a young lassie who lives in Australia and I lurk on the YW disscusion pages, but have yet to post there.

I can't quite remember how I got into Young Wizards. I know that I saw them advertised at the back of a "Magic Carpet" book, possibly one by Jane Yolen in the Pitdragons series.
I ordered the first book, and had to wait for it to be imported from the US and liked it so much I ordered the rest up to AWAB, after that it was the usual wait between books. I sign all my books and date them. SYWTBAW was bought in 2000.
The first four books are in paperback and are from the "Magic Carpet Imprint" and the others are all in Hardback. My aim is to one day get the first four books in Hardback as I really don't like having series' split up into different bindings.
