First a note to all scammers, spammers, link-planters and similar others: rel="nofollow" is enabled here, HTML is disabled in our user profiles, and profiles of new registrants are checked for unwanted links and text by Forum staff immediately after registration and at frequent intervals thereafter... so go try to improve your search engine rankings somewhere else. Thinking about posting advertisements here? Forget about it! Advertising of any kind is forbidden in our forums. Ads are killed on detection, and the advertisers' IP range is blocked.
Other potential registering users, please note: although the administrators and moderators of [ARG:2 UNDEFINED] will attempt to keep all objectionable
messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of
the author, and neither the owners of [ARG:2 UNDEFINED], nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin)
will be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar,
sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The owners of [ARG:2 UNDEFINED] reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
Please note that there are some usernames that Diane Duane has asked us not to issue. In particular, don't bother using one of the Lone Power's names. DD says, "There's too much of It around as it is."
As a courtesy to our younger users, language stronger than the "crap" or "dammit" level is not permitted in the forums. The use of inappropriate language in either the forums or the chat area triggers moderation filters which alert the Forum administration staff. Offenders are liable to immediate banning when the moderators deem the offense, or the spirit of it, to merit same. Bans may be temporary or permanent at the moderators' discretion.
Additionally, discussions of religion, politics, and other controversial topics, when they occur, are expected to remain civil and appropriate. If they do not, Forum members' posts will be moderated or deleted at the moderators' pleasure. Other posts which the moderators consider inappropriate or in violation of Forum guidelines may be deleted without notice -- and after a warning, repeat violators and ther IPs will be banned.
Discussion of future Young Wizards novels is welcome, but the posting of fan fiction is not allowed in our forums. (Try http://www.fanfiction.net for that.)
