Diane Duane has been active as a science fiction and fantasy novelist and screenwriter for more than thirty years. Her own universes have fans all over the world, and she enjoys playing in other people’s universes too. She’s worked with both DC and Marvel Comics and with other prominent licensors such as Tom Clancy, and she’s worked with Star Trek in more media than anyone else alive. In recognition of this, she is a recent recipient of the “Faust” Grand Master Award of the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers.
Her output to date includes more than fifty novels, numerous short stories and comics, the odd computer game or two, and many screenplays for animated series and live action drama. She’s written for everyone from Jean-Luc Picard to Scooby-Doo and from Batman to Barbie. Her most recent live action work includes the award-winning Sat1 miniseries Des Nibelungen / The Ring (aired in the US by SyFy as Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King) and the post-apocalyptic SF miniseries The Lost Future, starring Sean Bean.
